Who are the “Qaum Aad” people?
After the storm in Hazrat Nuh عليه السلام's time subsided, you Hazrat Nuh عليه السلام and other Muslims in the ark came down to a mountain called "Judi" and settled in a place nearby. There the lineage of Hazrat Nuh عليه السلام's descendants progressed and Allah blessed them greatly. And with time it increased a lot. When their numbers increased greatly, they were divided into different community and in the tribes. And spread on all sides. A tribe from them moved south and settled in the sand dunes of Yemen called "Ahqaf" in the southern part of the Arabian region. The tribe came to be known as Kaume Aad in reference to their ancestor "Aad" or Emperor "Aad".
Genealogy of Hazrat Hood
The people of "Qaum Aad" were healthy, strong, tall and long lived. But he was a victim of inferiority in terms of faith and execution. Worshiping idols, making fun of people, harassing others and building strong palaces in the hope of long life became their daily routine. Allah Ta'ala sent Hazrat Hud عليه السلام as a Messenger from among them for the guidance and guidance of this people who were in the pit of ignorance, confusion and negligence.
Hazrat Hud عليه السلام was from the descendants of Iram, the grandson of Hazrat Noah عليه السلام.
His genealogy is as follows.
Hud > Abdullah > Ribah > Khulud > Aad > Aaus > Iram > Sam > Nuh
Business of Hazrat Hood عليه السلام
Hazrat Hood عليه السلام used to trade for his livelihood. As Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abbas رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ says, Hazrat Hud عليه السلامwas a merchant. (Dated Ibn Asakir)
Doing business is the Sunnah of the prophets. And the true merchant will be raised along with the prophets on the Day of Judgment. As in the Hadith Pak, “A true and honest merchant will be with the Prophets, Siddiqs and Martyrs on the Day of Judgment.” (Tirmizi Sharif).
Allah Ta'ala has declared this statement of Hazrat Hud عليه السلام in the Qur'an Sharif, Para-19, Surah Shoora, Ayat-125, that Inni Lakum Rasoolun Amin o. verily I am a trustworthy Messenger for you.
The fallacy of "Qaum Aad".
After the years of stormy Noah, first of all, Aad Koum, Tawheed and Risalat and Iman and Hidayat, and for a very long time they were in idolatry, Kufr, Shirk, misguidance and hypocrisy and error and ignorance. For their guidance , Allah Ta'ala sent Hazrat Hud عليه السلام as His Messenger to them. Hazrat Hud عليه السلام commanded the people of Aad to believe in the Oneness of Allah Ta'ala, to worship only Allah Ta'ala and to follow His orders, and warned them of Allah's punishment. But the people did not believe a single word of him. And called them liars and fools. And provoked other people of the community to disbelieve him.
Torment of the storm
When Hazrat Hud عليه السلام made great efforts to convince them and proved the greatness of God and His Messenger with many arguments, yet they did not believe,
So Allah sent down upon them the punishment of storm and storm. First of all Allah Ta'ala stopped the rain in those areas. So they fell into famine. In this hour of trouble, Hazrat Hood عليه السلام again persuaded them, and persuaded them to repent, seek forgiveness of sins and bring faith. So as to get rid of this famine. But they stuck to the statement of "We will not believe".
It is narrated from Hazrat Harish bin Yazid رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ that Huzoor Akram صلى الله عليه وسلم said, when there was a famine in Qaum Aad, he sent a person named "Keel" or "Kail" to Makkah Sharif to pray at the Kaaba Sharif. He went to Makkah and invested Bakr bin Muawiyah there. Bakr made him Wine drink and two of his servants danced in front of the keel.
Then Keel went to “Mahra” Pahal. And went there and prayed that, O Allah! I have not come to pray for a sick person or to release a prisoner. Just make your servants and this people drink the rain water that you used to make them drink. And with them Let Bakr bin Muawiyah also drink.
Shortly after the Pray, some clouds appeared over his head and he was told to choose one of these clouds. Kiel chose a very dark cloud. So he was told that he took the burnt ash, which would not leave anyone from Kome Aad. (Tirmizi Sharif)
Then Allah Ta'ala sent that cloud to Qaum Aad, seeing which the people were happy and started saying that this is a rainy cloud. Hazrat Hood عليه السلام said that this is not a rainy cloud, but this is the punishment, which you were hastening. Listen! That in this cloud is a storm based on painful torment. The people listened to Hazrat Hood عليه السلام's warning, ignored it and turned their attention towards the cloud and became happy to see it, at which time Hazrat Hood عليه السلام took the believers with him and went some distance away from the infidels.
As the clouds approached, Qaum Aad heard a terrifying sound. Then a very dangerous and peaceful storm blew up, which uprooted the lands of those people like the dry trunks of an uprooted palm tree. And that storm would blow those people up into the air and knock them down on the ground in such a way that their heads would split off. Everything that came under the influence of this terrible storm was destroyed and destroyed and became a sign of Ibrat to the people. This storm lasted continuously for seven (7) nights and eight (8) days. And when the storm stopped, only the ruined houses of Kome Aad were visible and all the people were dead.
Protection of believers from punishment
Allah Ta'ala saved Hazrat Hud عليه السلام and the believers from the punishment of the aforementioned storm by His mercy.
After the death of the infidels, Hazrat Hud عليه السلام took the Muslims to Mecca Mukarram for Tashrif. And worshiped Allah Ta'ala there till the last age. According to a tradition, other prophets also followed the same method, that when the Ummah of one of them was destroyed, he would take the Prophet to Mecca Sharif. And he used to worship the Prophet and his people, Allah Ta'ala. Until he died. Hence Hazrat Noah, Hazrat Hood, Hazrat Saleh and Hazrat Shuaibka grew up in Mecca only.
And their blessed graves are between the Well of Zamzam and Hajare Aswad. (Abbare Makkah)
